Biografía:
My name is Kara Stang. This is my second year with you at Howard High School and this year I have the privilege to be teaching several classes of Spanish 1 and Spanish 2.
Originally I am from Hershey, PA, where all the good chocolate is made. I first fell in love with Spanish in high school, after having the incredible opportunity to spend a few summers working in the Amazonian jungles of Peru. I saw first hand how awesome it was to be able to communicate with and understand a whole world of newness. That experience was the spark that illuminated a new path in which I would passionately and devotedly follow.
I graduated from Eastern University with my undergraduate degree in Spanish. In my time at school, I was exposed to the great leaders, authors, history makers, movers and shakers of the Spanish speaking world. Additionally, some of my best memories were made in the time that I was able to spend during a summer in Guatemala and a semester in Sevilla, Spain.
Upon graduating from college, I hopped on a plane and spent some time living in both Buenos Aires and the Patagonia region of Argentina. ¡Inolvidable!
My passion for Spanish has had me cross paths with amazing people and places and it is my mission to lend both my excitement and my experience to you!
